About the Artist
Melchisedek Shabazz is a Printmaker based in Richmond, Virginia. With the aid of woodcuts, Shabazz recontexualizes the narrative of Black queer men in America. Inspired by lived experiences, Shabazz uses striking imagery to convey complex themes.
