Liberated Arts Foundation Featured in Local News for Black History Month
Liberated Arts Foundation founders use art as a catalyst for change in their local community, giving back to organizations focused on homelessness.
Co-Founders Honored in 2025 VMFA Community Makers

Liberated Arts Foundation co-founders David Marion and Tiara Green were recognized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts during the RVA Community Makers event in February 2025. Artist Hamilton Glass leads this annual public art project, which celebrates community leaders with an unveiling that coincides with Black History Month. The co-founders are pictured with a sculpted vessel created by artist Kourtenay Plummer, who designed the piece specifically to honor their community contributions.
