For me, the “table of resilience” means family. It was the gathering place while growing up, where we met multiple times a day to share a meal. It’s where we did our homework and shared laughs; the table was central. It was where hair got done, arguments over double stacking Uno cards took place, and prayers were said—sometimes for a meal, sometimes for more. The table was the glue that kept our family together.
